Navy Chief has given us all three options to pre-order BF1 below; each option comes with all kinds of freebies. Question is... After what happened with BF4, are you going to pre-order now, wait for the Beta, wait till the game comes out, or not order the game at all ?

$59.99 Standard Pricing Package on Origin here

$79.99 Early Enlister Deluxe Edition on Origin here

$219 Collector's Edition on Amazon here

Regardless of which game we run, teams will be picked in July based on BF4 stats (link). For us to run BF1, first the game would have to be "playable" (unlike BF4 and BF3), second it would have to be evenly balanced from a competitive standpoint, and third it would have to be fun.

We just want to hear your thoughts

I have bought every (real) Battlefield (hardline and bad company don't count IMO) so I plan to buy this one. It looks pretty good from what they have shown so far. My only concern with buying it And playing it so close to the LAN would be team balancing. Would we run BF1 but still base teams off of BF4 stats, or reset and go by what stats could be gleaned from the game from launch?

Also their early enlisted pack looks like crap for an extra $20.

I never per-order games anymore. I will be waiting to see how the launch goes before deciding to buy it or not. Been screwed over far too many times by broken games.

So far all I've seen really is a trailer, with no real discernible game-play footage. While it was an awesome trailer and I super excited to see what happens with this game, I'm not forking over my money at least until the Beta. EA has dropped the ball on numerous occasions and it seems like a lot of the developer/distributors lately aren't doing much better. With the way the game market is right now, paying for a game before it's "complete" just seems kind of silly.

We're picking teams in July... So it will be BF4 stats. Which should be just fine, the BF games seem to translate well usually...

Will wait to pre-order until the beta is out. That should give me some idea of how the game is shaping up. I would think that they would have learned their lessons from the BF4 launch fiasco, but who knows.

When I do pre-order, it will be the Premium version.

Honestly bf4 is the last battlefield game I am planing to buy period. The series has been going down hill since 2142/2. Bad company 2 had some fun times I will say at some of the pg lans (those stupid c4 drones/uav things).

I will probably get the game, won't pre order for a while will wait and see what they show at E3 and when the beta comes out.

Also remember Origin now has its Great Game Guarantee so even if the game blows and you preorder you can get a full refund. So no reason not to pre order incase it is good so you don't lose out on the preorder bonus.
