    Back when I had a dell I was able to install a standard atx power supply with no problems. It was a bit smaller, bot not by much.

    Whitney's computer is a Dell Precision isn't it? Those dudes need special PSUs because they have a 24 pin connection and an additional 20 pin (why I don't know). One of the few systems Dell still makes with a proprietary PSU.

    Maybe they are designed to work with dual cpu systems. That would be my guess.

    there are a few cheaper ones but I believe that will offer the best quality as you can use that with any new machine and you know you will have enough power
